Our 6 year old daughter already has a watch (even from Bigmeda) which she really likes. The disadvantage of this other watch, however, is that it has a number of additional functions that are often accidentally activated. That cannot happen with this watch. It really only tells the time - no alarm, no date display, no stopwatch.* push in), but once set, the clock runs from one time position to the next. I would like to quickly rule out a usual adjustment of the time.* Legibility: The numbers on the dial are clearly legible. The strap is so long and has so many holes that the watch can be worn not only by our 6 year old, but theoretically by both her 3 year old sister and me.* Waterproof: The watch is advertised as waterproof ( up to 3ATM). The term "splash-proof" would be better, since you shouldn't hold them under a jet of water at 3ATM. If a few drops get on the watch when washing your hands, it can withstand it. That's good, because the children (have to) wash their hands very often at the moment.
