Wireless, yes, but very limited distance compared with other wireless PC accessories

Just got my Q620 and was disappointed to discover the wireless aspect is very limited. For me, I have a PC hooked up to a large TV in my living room. I have been using a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and wireless Xbox controller for two years with no issue. When I plugged in the wireless adaptor for the Q620, it did not respond. I got up off my couch and moved right up to the PC tower and everything started working just fine. As soon as I got about 3.5 feet or 1 meter away, the signal start to get shaky. If I drew a circle it would look like I started, stopped, started, stopped, three or four times, even though I had never stopped.I really think for what they charge, a better distance for good wireless connection should have been part of the package. I am not asking to be able to walk twenty feet away and use it, but I had sitting about twelve feet away and all the other wireless devices I use worked fine. Now I have moved my couch closer and bought a 10 foot long cable to connect it. Not ideal, but it works. Point of getting wireless is have wireless ability. As long as you plan on working with in a short distance of the device you have the wireless adapter on, you should be fine. For those, who are like me where you might have ten or so feet between you and your tower or device, just know you will be giving up the wireless option. Maybe mine is a defect, but I am not going through the headache of trying to swap this one out.
