Terrible for hamsters

My cheerio hamster HATES this product. The sand stuck to her fur and she kept trying to pull it out, panicking and crying and squealing in pain. So I picked her up and used her toothbrush to brush away the dirt in her fur and it came off so slowly. Then I puffed lightly to take it off. Eventually it came loose, but I recommend the children's play sand from your local hardware store. Once cooked it should be great as long as it isn't cooked in the oven on a baking sheet at 350 degrees to sanitize if it hasn't already been cooked. Take my advice, do not buy this product.
