Let me start by saying I'm NOT a millennial in need of new IT products. I'm going to Disneyland next month, the weather is getting hot and I need cold water. My needs are elementary and simple. I bought these based on the reviews and because they had a handle, strap and caribing clip. I know I don't want to carry this bottle around with me all day - I prefer it strapped to my backpack. So it fits the bill. Well it arrived and I thought maybe I overdid it a bit with this purchase. The Caribener clamp literally looks strong enough to have me and my husband hanging from a rock. The water bottle is very durable. Everything about this water bottle screams extreme outdoor sports, but here I am just looking for my water to stay cold at Disney 😂. Today I tested both bottles. Here in New York we have a heat wave. I filled both bottles halfway with ice and then filled them up with water. They stayed in my car from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. My car sat in the sun all day and it was just 120F+. I tried the white bottle first. rejection. The water was warm and rough. Then I checked the black bottle. Ideal. The ice cubes are still there, a little smaller, but nice and cold. So I'm going to swap out the white bottle for a black one and we're going to have a nice, hydrated vacation at Disneyland. Good Trip! Update - this bottle is amazing. In extreme heat, the water stays ice cold. Excellent technology.
