I really liked this collar. I sent it back for a size smaller. The dog is 19 inches long with a long coat and had a little more chest room when set as tight as possible. Concerned about the skin stretching a bit, I ordered the 18 inch size and it fits the space well. for customization. Our dog runs freely in it. She has problems with reverse sneezing and gagging, and it's way below her throat. Would love to get the metallic blue again but wasn't even 18 when I ordered so went for the metallic blue which is nice too but lighter in colour. This collar design is much easier to put on and take off. For example, the buckles do not need to be adjusted.
