Provides excellent grip to avoid falls
We bought these for my husband who has advanced Parkinson's disease to keep his feet from slipping when trying to transfer from his wheelchair. Ordinary non-slip hospital socks were not enough. They offer excellent traction. You are very close to his leg. We have to take them off every night because they don't "breathe" and his feet sweat a lot when he wears them.
