So this piece definitely feels more like a jacket than a shirt to me. Honestly if there were a lining it could be sold as a lightweight fall coat. The flannel fabric is a little bit scratchy on the inside but I plan on layering it over long sleeves, so I don’t think it will be an issue. It’s definitely too heavy for me to wear indoors for too long, so this will definitely be worn at outdoor fall events or as a lightweight coat on warmer winter days.The shape on this jacket is oversized and honestly, a bit on the frumpy side due to the thicker fabric not wanting to drape properly, but I think with the right styling, it can be very cute. I tried buttoning just to see what it would look like, but the buttons sit so low on the body that it looks really silly and will have to be worn unbuttoned. I plan on pairing this with jeans, a grey bodysuit, and boots.For reference, I’m 5’7, 175lbs, and pear shaped. I wear a large in most tops and an XL in bottoms. I prefer my clothes to be formfitting. I ordered this in a large and it is true to size.
