The one thing hobbyists and builders have with Raspberry Pi (or even Arduino) is the constant need for parts to build with. Even temporary layouts will eventually hit a wall as you suddenly need a piece to advance. This is a good kit of parts suitable for the beginner or experienced builder and is nice to have ready to use. It's very inexpensive, but it's reflected in the very basic breadboard, the sheer abundance of resistors and caps, and a few custom PCBs. This is the type of kit that allows you to add to an already existing stack of parts. It also includes a decent case and custom parts graphic for new builders. Very beautiful! 5/5
