Be sure to add silicone to seal the internal seams to prevent leakage! When cleaning I only found a few spots with small leaks but I bought this for my goddaughter's terrarium so leaks were not a problem. Perfect for your terrarium with a unique shape and a black background that makes the forest animals stand out! I replaced the top with plexiglass and added a lantern handle. The black mat to hold the tank prevents scratching your furniture or stand and keeps it in place. Highly recommended
