Another camera was added to my security log. I've had PTZ security cameras before and I've had solar powered cameras before, but this is my first camera to combine the two. Assembly was easy. The construction took about 30 minutes. I had an error (didn't read the instructions) when I changed the default password. The camera body feels solid and well built, and the solar panel looks well made. The connection of the panel to the case is via Micro-USB and I am sure that the device can be USB-powered if required. Before using it for the first time, I would recommend charging it in the sun for a while so that the battery is fully charged. The app was easy to find and install. There are a number of settings that can be controlled through the app. The camera can be turned on and off from the application. The SD card can be formatted via the app. swipe across the screen. It took me a few minutes to figure out the positioning, but the job went smoothly. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. Feel really good about the app and the features it offers. I'm hoping to get the FTP settings so I can record to my local hard drive at home.
