LaserPecker is the best choice because of its easy setup and excellent image capture.

Wow, the ease of use, portability and quality are amazing! I love the LaserPecker and used it a lot in the first two weeks after I got it. I am 100% a veteran engaged in guitar assembly and other woodwork. I use the LaserPecker to take custom fretboard recordings on guitars and basses and it works great. I literally took pictures straight from my iPhone XR via Bluetooth with ease. I simply use an image editor to make them black and white, center and fit the image to the edges of the image. Every once in a while I have to resize a bit if the image isn't working to select it again. it will set you back. A little pruning usually helps. I've also found that after the image loads, you go to the settings to turn on laser centering and align the dot to the center of the area, and then the preview just draws the light outside of the area to make sure it's correct aligned and dimensioned. By doing these things, I no longer had a severe burnout of hundreds. Compared to other blocks that are much more expensive, use rails or a closed block, this block is so mobile and easy to use that it cannot be compared. My only regret is that I want a new block now. About $250 to $350. Price and performance are great. A kid from the past would never have believed that I would have a computer controlled laser that I could take with me and use anywhere. Wow, I really recommend LaserPecker, I am not affiliated with them in any way other than as a satisfied customer.
