Wearing a school uniform seems like a great idea until you're a parent and don't really have to adhere to a strict dress code. That means a lot of wear and tear on school uniforms. Therefore, it is important to find quality school uniforms at cheap prices! All of my son's uniform pants/shorts are on the Best Buy Essentials list, so buying this vest seemed like a no-brainer. This sweater vest is really pretty, almost a warm navy blue rather than a cool navy blue. 100% cotton, jersey is thin and smooth. It has good density. My son who will be 7 in August wears a size 7 top so I bought a medium size. It fits well and still has room to grow. He tried it on shirtless underneath, but he was able to easily slip into his button-down shirt and still have freedom of movement. As the jersey is 100% cotton I would suggest washing it in cold water and then hanging to dry. The washing instructions say to tumble dry low, but this is a surefire way to prevent shrinking and fading. Tip: Buy an expensive school uniform or two for school photos etc., but stock up on everyday essentials at Best Buy Essentials. For me, everything has lasted longer and endured far more wear and tear than any other piece of uniform.
