Pulls bad cool air. Too little power and too many fans. Disabling 3 of them will distribute more power to the ones you need. Very simple, the fans are very easy to disconnect and just as easy to reconnect. Select the fans located below your laptop's air vents (derr). It only helps your laptop's internal fans remove the hot air your hearing aids can exhaust, it's minimal. It's 5v-1.1A FYI. When disassembled, a screw is hidden under the center sticker. Just pierce the sticker with a screwdriver and let it hold the screw. By stress testing Red Dead Redemption 2, I was able to drop the temperature to 65-69C (down from 70-74C) on Ultra (all) settings while maintaining 55-60fps, and I don't think that it is all because of this cooling pad. And sorry, no time for Time Spy or those nifty testing software tools. Was removed with the metal mesh on top screen (be careful with this). It was in room 76F. Finally, you only get 1 extra USB port as it is needed to power the fans. Use USB 3.0 if you can. USB 2.0 supplies less than 5 volts (nominal limit of the cooling pads).
