This is a beautiful, exceptionally well made shower curtain that hangs well and does not crease. The linen material gives it a subtle sheen that enhances its beauty and the curtain itself is undeniably well made. I have a plastic curtain that drains water off the curtain when I shower, and the curtain has enough material to hide the liner. (I recommend decorative ring holders for curtains that hide holes and those that sit on the inner lining of the curtain.) Because of the linen fabric—although the curtain is definitely moisture resistant—avoiding direct contact with water is crucial to avoid damaging the material and appearance of the curtain, hence the importance of a quality lining. I looked at thousands of shower curtains before settling on this one and I'm glad I took the time to find it as the shower curtain dominates a person's appearance. A bathroom, and this one adds charm to any bathroom, regardless of the color of the walls, floor, and cabinets. The combination of blue and light cream is great, and the wooden buttons add a stylish, unique extra detail. A shade of blue complements any bedding (e.g. towels and bath rugs) from navy blue to mid-blue with a touch of aquamarine, as well as off-white and soft white and multicolored bedding with the inclusion of blue like this bathroom is easy to find and should have a shower curtain complemented, especially when the colors chosen for the towels include a similar blue. (I have pink, green, and white with blue.) An exact blue match isn't necessary unless the shade of blue is close and not so strong that it overwhelms the warm blue of the curtain. Because it is protected by a waterproof lining, I recommend this unique and very beautiful shower curtain.
