It's okay Bags, cases and cases

I'm still fairly neutral about this product. Neither love nor hate. Was looking for a standard case/cover for my mom's new iPad mini. I don't know why, but it caught on and was cheaper than plain coverage from the same company. I thought it was worth a try for the price. (Less than ten dollars). Works well as a cover. The color is almost as stated. It's bright and fun. The iPad fits snugly, the holes for the camera lens and speakers are all present. As for the rotation feature, this is a bug. If you are not sitting on a hard, flat surface (e.g. a table), the swivel function will not work. Just a little push and it suddenly turns over or slides off. Bluetooth signal worked instantly and easily. It charges quickly and lasts for several hours. I really like that you can turn it on and off. My mom likes to play games that don't require a keyboard, so she might turn them off to save battery life. The keyboard itself. Fur. It feels very weak and the button press feels unbalanced. Some keys need to be pressed harder, others can only be touched lightly. Because it's so small, my mom doesn't really like it (she's in her 70s and has trouble distinguishing the buttons). I've used it several times to answer emails or search the web. That works fine. You cannot use it when the iPad is rotated in portrait mode. When you move the keyboard, the iPad tips over, sometimes the case slams shut. I wouldn't pay full retail price for it, but since I got a good deal it's ok. It does what we needed it for, the other features are just interesting. I think if I needed a keyboard function I would probably choose another product.
