Leaves greasy residue that cannot be removed without water

I purchased this product thinking it would be perfect for my car interior. I sprayed it on the dashboard and there's plastic everywhere. Everything is very shiny! Unfortunately, when I touched the areas where I had sprayed, I had a very oily feeling. I tried waiting a few weeks to a month but it didn't go away. I ended up scrubbing the entire interior of the car with car soap to remove it. It couldn't be removed with just water.
