I was looking for a large plastic container to store leftovers or other large groceries in the fridge - specifically I wanted to store sliced watermelons as I always have a watermelon on hand during summer months. These "kits" are inexpensive and lightweight. It's not a heavy-duty product (which would cost a lot more) and it's designed to be a convenient and affordable storage option - and that's exactly what it is.
