Review on Panasonic HC-V770 Video Camera Black by Stanisaw Muter ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

Seeing what is happening with the dollar, I decided to ate my two-year-old Panasonic HC-V720m, a review of which I strongly advise you to read. To be honest, I wasn't impressed. Most importantly: when choosing, do not limit yourself to reading the characteristics. Download the full manual and read itcompletely! By the way, it is also difficult to find the instructions for some reason. If the moderators let the link go, here it is:

Pros
  • I am writing about the V720: Even better lies in a large male hand. Panasonic heard my moaning two years ago and still added 1080/50p with 50Mbit bitrate! Charging began to be carried out through a USB adapter, which will allow you to power the camera from any PowerBank, eliminating the need to purchase expensive additional batteries! The new processor, or matrix, which was reduced from 17 to 12 megapixels by increasing the pixel size, does not matter - in low light conditions it slightly outperforms the V720. For all sorts of WiFi things, a frame in a frame (from a video from a smartphone), baby monitors and other delights, I'm apparently too conservative, I don't use it, but I'll write it down as a virtue. The stabilizer, as it was good, remained the same, the second frame alignment mode that appeared somehow did not impress, subjectively everything is exactly the same as in the V720. HDR is a strange thing. When you turn it on, even hybrid stabilization is disabled. It is not normally perceived from the display, and only then can you look at the big screen, think and understand whether it was worth using it, and if it was, then in which of the two modes.
Cons
  • A lot of marketing gimmick: the descriptions give the illusion of a huge variety of modes, but in fact there are a lot of things that are mutually exclusive. Do you want mp4 video? Well then, we will turn off 5.1 sound for you. Do you want Amazon? Well, then you will not have a high bitrate. The wide angle has become smaller: 29.5 versus the previous 28, it seems to be a trifle, but if you pick up both cameras, it's noticeable. If you shoot a lot indoors, you will have to buy a wide-angle nozzle. The firmware is raw. For example, having gone into MNL mode and allowing a reduced frame rate, you will not be allowed to exit this mode until you turn off the option in the menu back. As before, there is not the entire desired range of modes. Well, make 1080 and 720, for each i and p, and frequencies and 50 and 25. Well, if I shoot in the dark, well, I won’t physically work out the shutter for 1/50 sec, why do I need 50p at which the frames will be repeated twice? When shooting with an interval, the camera still forcibly goes to 50i, why do I need two half frames when I need one full frame? In YouTube reviews, people rejoice at Slow Motion, and in the descriptions 200/240 fps skips. Lie. There are 100 (120 in the US) that can be converted to 25 instead of 50. Again, when it is turned on, a lot of the rest is turned off. In order to torment the buyer with particular cynicism, the developers still limited the number of buttons that can be thrown into the on-screen menu in the settings. Instead of adding one tab (and the ability to remove the T-W-Record tab), they give the user the choice (exaggeration) of either auto contrast or turning on the lamp (I personally need 5 buttons when allowed to select any three. The mode of automatic photographing of smiling faces has disappeared. And it was so interesting to periodically look at what was photographed there.
