3 used as connection between MP3 player and car radio. Use another with my portable digital voice recorder [little use]. It still works. All failed cables had exposed/broken wires. Maybe the wire is wrong? Connector housings began to slip as soon as they were used. Possibly too much grease for mold on the parts. For very light use only, not for heavy use. Not reliable at any cost.
