I'm picky about bath towels. First, they must be soft. This is why I was hesitant to order a waffle towel, but they are amazingly fluffy and soft - Tommy Bahama - Northern Pacific Collection - Towel Set - White. The waffle mesh of these towels has a large cushion. They're lightweight and take up little space, but still have good absorbency and a solid presence. You are not skinny. I don't like the folded side seams, I prefer an even weave. They also come with what's left of an extra white inner label. I don't know what it is but the pieces come off on the first wash. I also advise you to shake the villi out of the dryer after the first wash, there are a lot of them. I don't have any information on the durability, I assume one year of daily use.
