Simple sturdy bookends without spending a fortune

We are avid readers and have a great deal of books, so we were very pleased to find that we could get these book ends at a decent price.They are a nice hefty metal (not the lightest when stacked, but reasonably light individually). Very similar to the type you might find keeping books from falling over at your local library. We use them as single book stops in our bookcases for shelves that aren't full, as well as ends for books we don't keep on shelves, and these work great for both.
