Once you know how to install it, it's almost like plug and play. Have been using this product for less than a day and already love it. Much better price than any other for what you get. Why pay $60-$80 when you can't pay more than $20 for the same if not better product. Unfortunately, due to the misunderstanding on the product page, the lack of a confusing installation guide, it is very confusing at first. Some of the questions and answers say you need to visit this dubious website or install this strange "extension". Everything is very wrong. All you have to do is follow the basic instructions for "Windows Hello" as it is Microsoft's built-in fingerprint recognition software, which is likely already installed on your device. A simple Google search explains how to set it up in minutes. After that, it's honestly almost as fast as the iPhone's fingerprint scanner when it comes to quick unlocking. Like I said, it's really great, just a little bit of confusion on the part of the seller. The packaging is also very strange, confused me when I received it in the mail. It's in a different language with a few typos; probably from a third party. I could be wrong, but it's very similar to other USB fingerprint scanners I've seen at Revain, just a different brand. I'm assuming it's just a reseller with their own brand and a lower price. Hey, if it works great, I'm happy. I just wish the seller would fix this and have more 'correct' packaging and a better product description on Revain. I want to rate it 5 stars but due to these various issues I can't. I understand why customers think this is fake, even I was skeptical when I first unboxed the product. But yes, it's all legal and I'm very happy with my purchase. If I ever see them fixed I will update my review. However, I think it's really cool!
