Review on 🐭 Disney Baby Onlook Convertible Car Seat - Rear-Facing 5-40 lbs, Forward-Facing 22-40 lbs, Up to 43 inches - Mouseketeer Minnie by Jairah Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Base frame, bulky, difficult to adjust straps; but comfortable

Honestly, you pay for the brand first. There is nothing special about this car seat. Like a standard frame, no special features. I had to manually rethread the straps. And the Minnie Mouse mat is easy to remove. The installation is standard: you can use the LATCH method and / or the seat belt. Unfortunately, even after attaching BOTH, I still had trouble tightening the attached straps sufficiently. Even adjusting the shoulder straps was more difficult than most. I'm seven months pregnant but have installed and removed car seats more times than I can remember and have very rarely had any problems. Another point to note is that it has a wide frame. So if you're short on space or taking it with you on a plane, it can be a bit of a hassle. They certainly couldn't fit three in a row. In terms of comfort, I like that it reclines more than the one it replaces. And it seems to have quite a bit of padding. So it's convenient for me to take it with me on trips where my daughter sleeps in the car. Dual cup holders are an added bonus. That's why I gave this car seat 4 stars. Although if I could. I would probably downgrade it to 3.5 due to the base frame and difficulty in setup/configuration.
