This set comes with a bag for easier storage and faster portability when needed. The bag is nothing special, but it serves its purpose. The bags themselves appear to be of very good quality. You get four blue and four red. The boards are decent and they definitely work. They're not as hard as homemade ones, but they're not easy at all. (just not as heavy as a homemade set) They're of good enough quality that the bags don't bounce when they hit the board, but the collapsible stands make them a bit more fragile. If you can place them on a nice, stable surface, it will be a lot less noticeable. Even if it's not the biggest. They work fine. Sets of homemade bags are quite heavy. (usually plywood) Homemade sets also don't stack at all. I think the trade-off is that they're relatively light and foldable, rather than heavier and more difficult to pack. They barely fit in the trunk of a Nissan Altima, but they do. This set is just right for my family. We are not professional sleight of hand.
