Update 07/19/2019 - The printer had a major update a few weeks ago, and wonder of wonders, it now prints both PDF and online forms and journals. It took you quite a long time. Update - Doesn't print PDFs, highlighted items from the web, or online forms. I need to paste it into a word doc to print something. Also with a straight cable. wtf canon? Your Drivers Suck! (Win7 machine) I've been using Canon printers since the early 90's and have never had a printer that I hate. Until now. This printer is the worst. I'm currently using it over WiFi and it takes forever to show up as ready. And even if it does, you have to balance the ball almost on your nose for it to print anything. Print an email from Outlook, Google or Yahoo. I do not think so. PDF file. No chance. Select from the Internet and print out. Of course you're joking. Printing from an SD card. Only certain files and then only in photo mode. WTF. Canon Tech says it has poor Wi-Fi signal. For real? Nobody else is having problems, and neither are the last two printers I've had in the same location. The router is in a different room, but only three meters away. I ordered a printer cable for this, and if it doesn't work then crap. It won't even communicate enough to let its software know the ink levels.
