Update again. The final replacement is perfect. In contrast to the second monitor, this one was not overhauled, but brand new and perfect. I am very glad that Revane took care of me. Thanks Revin To update. I ordered a second monitor directly from ViewSonic through Revain and it arrived damaged. See attached photo. He is currently returning to see replacements for Sonic. It was packaged well, but the upper-right corner of the screen had clearly fallen off something hard at some point. And I'm pretty sure the inner packaging is good enough to protect the monitor. The foam inserts are a bit loose, but they are clearly designed for a larger monitor. I don't think they are intended for general use. I use this monitor for photo editing and it calibrates well. It's only 1080p resolution, but that's ok. It fits nicely on my desk and replaces a 10-year-old HP IPS monitor that's starting to run out of steam. Nothing more to say because it does what it was designed to do and it does it well.
