I installed this shower filter a few weeks ago due to an eczema outbreak and a really lousy plumber messing up the water in our new house. Basically, the bath water comes out "orange" until you drain it a bit. He said that it would resolve itself in a few months and now for half a year without any changes. Plumbers in the southern USA! idiots! Anyway, I installed this filter to try and put my eczema back to sleep. I use this filter in combination with natural products, which in my experience so far don't get any worse. I still have a fight to go but I can sleep normally for at least 6 hours without waking up from eczema. I attribute most of it to this water filter. Yes, it's cheap, but it fits all of my oiled bronze gear and filters. It works for me until I can convince people in the south to understand what "allergens" are. believe it or not They still don't understand how to handle food safely.
