I took it on a trip to Japan. I have a video camera but decided it was too difficult to carry the beast so I used this lightweight camera to take commemorative pictures. The quality is very good and I can put it in my pocket. The battery lasts a long time, in 6 months of use it has never been changed. This is my everyday camera that I use at home. The price is reasonable. The only downside is that in broad daylight I can't see the image I'm taking on the screen due to glare. You must turn away and switch to image viewing mode.
