Review on 🔒 The Club 1000: Ultimate Car Security with Original Club Steering Wheel Lock, Red by Jay Sterns

I bought this a few weeks ago after my friend's car was stolen straight from his garage. I really just wanted a visual deterrent to deter thieves. I got the club and read some one star reviews about the club being blocked and unable to unblock. I was worried but figured that most likely it wouldn't happen to me. Everything was fine until today. I wanted to unlock The Club and of course I couldn't unlock it. The key just wouldn't turn. For a few minutes I tried and just sat there, realizing I would have to call a locksmith. I tried one more thing, I always left enough room for the stick extension on my steering wheel, so I lengthened it a few clicks and decided to try locking again. At first he didn't turn around, and then suddenly after a few seconds he turned around. I breathed a sigh of relief and decided not to use it again. Something is clearly wrong with the design of the club if many of us are having trouble unlocking it. I can't reliably reproduce the incident, so I can't verify every time that what I did to unlock works. I don't want to worry about not being able to unlock the club every time I have to drive. If I turn the key too hard and it breaks off, will someone have to saw through the racquet or steering wheel? I will try to bring this back and see if there is a more reliable option.
