One of my favorite purchases for my newborn! We shared a bed with our son and knew we wanted a bassinet this time. I'm very cheap and it was hard paying close to $200 for something without knowing if we could even use it. But we love it! The mattress is a bit hard as some reviews say. But no more than any normal newborn mattress. Our bed doesn't have legs so I was nervous that she could sit right in front of the bed without having to slide her legs under her. But that wasn't a problem, and her feet slid well on the bed. To be honest my only major complaint is that the plastic part (which goes sideways, which goes down) hurts my wrist when I put my hand on it when checking it in the middle of the night. Or when I change her diaper and kick her with my legs, sometimes she kicks it and I worry that she might feel uncomfortable. Plus it's big and looks/feels sturdy and well made! So worth the money!
