As always, I've looked through many cold brew coffee machines. I chose Ingeware based on reviews and product features. One is a stainless steel tube (not a mesh like the others) and a spout. In addition, the plastic base above the glass ensures a secure hold and protects the glass if you bump into something. I've read many reviews of people accidentally hitting the glass bottom and broken on other non-reinforced brands. I intend to reduce the amount of diet soda I consume on a daily basis. I like unsweetened iced tea, that was my first experience. I used tea bags, steeped for 12 hours, added a slice of lemon and tea to my bottle to swell. I've been drinking all day and didn't need to add ice. My husband likes expensive bagel iced coffee so this is my next challenge. It's nice to save all the money spent on alternatives and no real work required!
