I've been looking for a solution for front and back porch lighting for quite some time. I had regular old lights that I loved and didn't want to change, but couldn't find a way to install motion sensors to match the lights. Searching the internet turned up these extenders. The extensions screw into an existing socket, allowing a specially purchased bulb to be screwed in, extending slightly beyond the fixture to detect either heat or motion. The sensors in the bulb work during the day, but only stay active for about 90 seconds. Great device! Good quality. Highly recommended.
