I bought two of these for my two cats a few months ago and they work great. Both cats are very fond of them, including the one that sniffs at other pet beds and usually hates anything with faux fur on it. She loves this bed and often sits on it instead of one of her favorite spots. My other cat is a Maine Coon size (about 22lbs) so many "cat beds" don't fit him, but a 22" bed is perfect for him. It has enough room to lie comfortably on its side instead of squirming. Being able to wash the beds was one of the main advantages for me. I didn't follow the instructions the first time and washed one of the beds in hot water, but it still came out of the dryer perfectly, albeit a little fluffier. Overall this is definitely an estimate and should I ever need another bed this would definitely be my first choice.
