This mini tripod is great; It's more of a combination of a mini tripod and a retractable pole. The construction is very good and looks good, many of the parts are made of plastic so careful handling will definitely prolong its lifespan. However, it is possible, but be aware that the weight it will support in these circumstances will be much less. I have used this mini tripod/stick with my iPhone 11 Pro in an all aluminum rig with mic and light, the tripod holds up great. Personally, I've decided not to risk my a6500 and lens with this setup just yet, so I can't confirm it will work under heavier loads. The price of this item has gone up a few dollars since I ordered it; currently on sale for $15.99 I'd say it's a decent buy. All in all a great product. I definitely recommend it.
