When I needed it to work, it didn't. Ruined my royal mattress. My son's pull up leaked and not only was it a water stain on the mattress topper it got wet and soiled the king size mattress underneath. The whole point of a mattress pad is to protect the mattress. I have one of these on every bed in the house and will replace them all once I find a truly waterproof mattress topper/pillow.
