I love this color! First, it's not the greasy stuff you get in the Halloween aisle at most stores. This paint really gives you the precision of an artist's paint and brush, and a little goes a long way. Mixed with water I would compare the consistency with craft paint. I only wish I had more time than necessary to get even more creative. It's strange but it's true. The color holds up very well, but washes off easily. I went down the street to a Halloween party in the rain with my face painted all over and it didn't flow at all. I wore the color for about ten hours and by the end of the night it looked as good as when I applied it. People wanted to touch him (yeah, a bit weird) and he put up with it. However, when I washed it off at the end of the night, it took me no longer than usual to wash my face and there was nothing left. I also didn't have any of the usual face painting issues like rashes or acne (my skin is a bit sensitive so I don't usually wear regular makeup for that reason). It also doesn't feel tight when it dries and doesn't crack like many paints. Oh, and if you make a mistake while painting, no problem, just take a damp paper towel, wipe away the mistake and start over. This will make the area clean again without smearing the surrounding area. Another great thing about this color is that you can get different effects depending on how you apply it. For example, in the Dia de los Muertos image I inserted, I wanted rich colors in places like around the eyes. I applied there with a brush and went over it twice. I wanted the white parts to look more ghostly (can't think of a better word for a matte finish) so I applied a thinner coat, mixed with less water to make it a little tacky and rubbed it in with my fingers . I love Halloween, I'm 46 years old and have tried all sorts of colors over the years. This is by far the best I've ever used. Very versatile, easy to use and of high quality.
