Absolutely stupid design that makes putting on shoes a wrestling match. A few inches of elastic at the opening or tongue makes for a great, minimalist running shoe. Inexplicably for putting on shoes, the hole doesn't give at all. Don't ignore this warning. Imagine trying to put on a fully laced shoe without untying the laces. You have that here. Someday they will be fine. But what's the point? Probably not worth returning, but I will never buy them again.
