Very tight at first but they fit if I unlace the laces all the way. That's good since these are skateboard shoes. Very comfortable, with little noticeable friction at the seams. I usually felt a pinch or pressure on my pinky toe or near the ball of my foot. My goal to get them is to ride the Onewheel. Please note that my clothing size is between 9 and 10 depending on the place of production. I've had the most luck with the New Balance lines and the 9.5 and 2E designations. I currently have four New Balance versions labeled 9.5/2E. They are very different. In order from loose to tight. Walking 877, hiking 769, trail running 769, work shoe 570 (Suregrip). Now 425 comes closest at the back. I can only imagine that the normal 425 width should be a slim fit, and I mean "B" width, not the usual "D" men's width. Got on the float and the fit seems right for my ride.
