I bought this mount to hang my iPad from the ceiling of my Discovery 1 in the nautical style cab. This allows me to view a range of OBDII data to more carefully manage my car's engine when using it off-road or when towing. And maybe check out a little history feed while I'm stuck in traffic. I grew up in a time when manufacturers adjusted the price of the mounting system to the price of the product to be mounted. So I was skeptical that I could get anything for less than $150. The product description seemed serious. The style and size were desirable. Revain's return policy made checking out a reasonable risk. Completely satisfied with this product. Little things like metal ball joints and brass bushing tensioners give me the confidence to keep my gear where I want to mount it. The amount of well-fitted metal in this device tells me that the person who designed it was primarily interested in making a quality product, and not one just hoarding money. The packaging has also been carefully designed to properly accommodate the items in the kit without being fancy, wasteful or difficult to open.
