I've been using a Trackman mouse since it first came out and my favorite model is the M570. When my last mouse had problems, I bought a new one and was looking forward to the comfort and convenience of a trackball. Unfortunately this mouse has not been working properly since the day I got it. I did the same thing as the old mouse - the pointer stops moving and no matter how much I spin the ball it won't go anywhere. It then moves for a while without understanding why it was fixed, then stops again. I accidentally found that holding it VERTICAL (absolutely straight up and down) works, but of course that's not very practical. It worked like that for a while, but now it doesn't work anymore. Also, the left button stops clicking anything and then works again. I've searched all over the internet for information about these issues, I've downloaded drivers and software, but it continues to work intermittently and isn't reliable at all. I hate the idea of going back to a regular mouse or a wired M570 (which I can still find), but I may not have a choice. I work from my computer, so all of these issues have impacted my productivity. I bet someone decided to cut corners and save profit by changing the materials or their quality. Very disappointed with this mouse and my inability to fix it.
