Does NOT work 2k @ 144Hz
At first I was very confused because my screen was completely black after using this cable. After delving into the settings, I realized that if I wanted to use the native 2k (2560 x 1440) resolution, I had to reduce the refresh rate to 60Hz in the NVIDIA settings. This is unfortunate as my monitor supports 144Hz. The cable is nice and long as advertised (15ft!), but unfortunately it falls short of most other shorter options and the store page seems to be trying to hide that fact.
