Review on 🔌 Sabrent USB to RS-232 DB9 Serial Adapter (Prolific PL2303) - Enhanced Connectivity with 9-Pin Compatibility (SBT-USC1K) by David Monaco

Like other reviewers, I bought this adapter to connect my Garmin eTrex Legend GPS to my new computer that doesn't have a serial port. The included mini-disk contained a driver and quick start guide. The manual said to install the driver before plugging in the adapter, but I didn't read it, so I did everything in reverse order. (No problem.) The driver on the CD worked fine, although Windows XP MCE complained about it. Pros: MUCH cheaper than the Garmin adapter but still working Cons: Old/windows incompatible driver, no correct install order given on box (on CD)
