The device is smooth and the right thickness so it doesn't obstruct the view and is also strong enough to cover the phone keep in place. With my current settings and heavy usage of my iPhone, it has enough charging power to keep it going for eight hours or more, with the potential to keep it at 100% if you have a good fast car charger. It comes with a suction cup that has tremendous suction power; I am usually very strict with devices and have had previous versions of this device. This one certainly looks like it could take a hit and not fall off. Highly recommended!
