This deep conditioner left my low porosity 4c hair looking weak and very dry. It could work a little better with heat treatment, but that's not what it says on the box. However, every hair type is different; It might work on your hair, but for me it was a waste of money. Edit: I tried again a few months after washing my hair 3 times with a residue-free and sulfate-free clarifying shampoo. My hair was much less dry than before and after drying with a t-shirt I used it as a leave-in again. It works, but make sure you don't use products that cause buildup with it. Washable with water and suitable for natural hair. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.
