I've read how difficult it is to install these pedal covers, especially the accelerator pedal. Here's what I did to install both in about 12 minutes: 1. Place both spacers in a ziplock bag (sandwich size was fine). Place the bag in a bowl of hot water (I used water heated to 195 degrees) for about 5 minutes.3. While the pads were warming up, I removed the old rubber brake pedal pad. There is nothing to shoot for the gas pedal.4. I took the new brake pedal out of the bag (sealed the bag and put it back in hot water to keep the gas pedal rubber pad flexible) and put it over the metal brake. The rubber behind the new pad was quite pliable, so I started the new pad by sliding it from the top, working with the pad on the top right, bottom right, bottom around, and left top. This took about 3 minutes. It is important to run your finger over the backing to ensure the entire rear rubber lip covers the metal brake.5. He got a new accelerator pad out of his pocket and proceeded in the same direction as with the brake pad: removed the new pad from above and with a finger lifted the rear rubber edge up and right over the accelerator down and further up the left side. There is no lower rubber lip. As I climbed up the left side, I used a thin plastic tool to hold the left rubber lip slightly ajar so I could slide it over the gas pedal. The fit gets tighter the closer you get to the top left corner, so using an assembly tool really helped with the installation process. Again, remember to run your finger across the back of the new pad to ensure the rubber lip covers the entire accelerator pedal. Here is a link to the toolbox I used.
