Good camera for the price.

I'm an amateur photographer, I have three SLR cameras with a set of lenses. However, this collection does not eliminate the need for a practical item just for everyday needs. I mostly keep this in the glove box of my car as a backup if something better than my phone's camera is needed. For this purpose, it meets and even exceeds my expectations. However, it's still a snapshot device with a relatively low price, so it shouldn't reach DSLR-level quality (e.g. background blur, fast shutter speed, high low-light performance, etc.). Pros: - Lightweight, slim and sleek design: It fits in a small space and looks and feels like a high quality product. - Ability to charge via USB: This is one of the advantages for me. I keep it in my car and I don't want to run out of battery all the time or have trouble taking the battery out and charging it separately, which requires carrying a charging adapter all the time as well as plugging it in. Adapter. Instead of. All I do is plug it into a 12V USB car charger and it builds up to a good charge fairly quickly. It comes with a wall adapter (5V, 0.5A) that connects to a detachable USB cable (so you can use the cable and plug it into any USB charger). But be careful with the USB cable. The standard USB to Micro-B cable that charges most mobile devices is not suitable for this type. If you need a replacement or additional cable, you need to purchase a USB-UC E6 cable. - Simple Menu Mode: Convenience should be a priority in a snapshot device, and even my grandfather could navigate through this menu. One of the most user-friendly interfaces I've ever seen. Possibility of panoramic shots: This was a surprise for me. I didn't read the product description in detail before purchasing and it was such a handy feature. I used to take panoramic photos by taking dozens of photos with my DSLR and stitching them together using software, which was difficult and time-consuming. This feature does it instantly and allows you to take photos of comparable quality. 5x optical zoom: From a photographic point of view, when zooming, less is more. The best lenses have no zoom at all. For a practical subject like this, however, zoom is essential and 5x is a good range for optical zoom (it's also important that you compare the devices' optical zoom capabilities to digital zoom before making a decision). - Image quality: As I said above, it doesn't come close to the quality of a DSLR, and I don't care about the large pixel size either. For cameras with small sensor sizes like snapshots, it's actually better to get a lower MP device for sharper images, but that's not bad at all, especially in daylight. The HD video quality is also good, but again depends on the lighting. Price: The price of $78 (as of August 2014) makes it one of the cheapest snapshot cameras on the market. You can get better deals from time to time, but that's pretty attractive too. Cons: - Low light performance: I'd like to reiterate that I don't expect professional quality from this device, but I found the low light performance to be mediocre at best. . The noise was a bit annoying even with the flash. - Slow shutter speed: It has a continuous shooting mode that should capture multiple images in a short time while the shutter button is pressed. However, this device has a very long refractory period between shots, which is not even worth bothering with this mode. You have to reduce the image quality by 3 notches to notice a multi-shot effect and it's not worth it. So if you want to photograph a bird in flight, a person walking, or a car driving by, you don't have much of a choice but to take a few photos and decide later. - Zoom buttons: I like the zoom ring. under the shutter button, but it's like a plus and a minus on the back, which is not very convenient. - No optical viewfinder: This is not only a problem with this model. The latest cameras ditch the optical viewfinder and all you get is a digital image on the screen to help you set up the photo before taking it. Firstly, it makes no sense to take pictures, but more importantly, the digital viewfinder drains the battery and doesn't work well even in bright light. - Video focus sound: When you record a video of a close subject (which requires constant autofocus adjustments) and when the environment is quiet, you can hear the focus adjustment sound in your recording. But as I said, this is only noticeable in complete silence and when shooting over short distances. In general, whether you like it or not depends on your expectations. For me a practical and sufficiently functioning device with quite useful functions. I am happy with this purchase
