Legs too long: tights, pants and shorts

After riding a few hundred miles last month I was torn between keeping them or sending them back. I decided to keep them because they look great with the bright colors and the seat padding is impressive. The bad thing about this story is that the legs are too long. I ordered American Wednesday as I fully met the recommended weight and size limits. Aside from being 5'8" and 145 lbs, the waist fits snugly but the leg length is a few inches longer. I tighten them but with normal wear they bunch up behind the knee which is uncomfortable When I roll up the extra length and tuck them under my socks they don't hold up well as the rubberized bottom folds out This works best when I zip them under my heels in my cycling shoes A little uncomfortable when walking but good when cycling. They are perfect for people with a 34" waist and a height of 5'11" or 6'. Update: Two weeks left and a few hundred miles more. My workaround is to tuck my feet under my heel , doesn't work that well. The zipper rubs in my shoes or half the time it slips out of my shoes and zips up again behind my knee.I would return them now even though they look good if I could.crap .

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say
