They work and are perfect for the annular inner chamber. The cord is short so it's not visible and doesn't get tangled. The kit also includes a small 3m tape to attach the camera to the mount. The only thing to note is that if your outlet isn't flush with the bezel (like some of my GFCI outlets) the stand won't be as secure as you won't be able to tighten the screw without pulling on the top . . part of the wall. This is not a defect in the product, just something to be aware of. Because of this, I had to use a different outlet. My cats rubbed the camera but the mount stayed in place. These are practical little things.
