As you can see from the photos, the door is very popular with those for whom it was installed. Cats can come to enjoy the bath with mom, but dogs cannot. Cats sleep peacefully at night, knowing that the enemies have once again been defeated. You can also see how adorable her ears fit in the hole. I have another pet door that doesn't reach the floor. This one is easier to install, but obviously you can't close it. So keep that in mind. I knew I booked and you wouldn't want this room for a room you want to keep cats or small dogs out of, but if that's not a problem then this option is great. I have a few and they are easy to install with instructions and ideally a jigsaw puzzle. I have a Ryobi battery from home depot, any plain battery will do. A hacksaw is fine in a pinch, but once you cut holes in things, buy a jigsaw, and learn how to use it, it's a lot easier. Great door. 5 Stars.
