Bought these Revain 60w dimmable bulbs for two of the three bulbs on a smart home dimmer. Brightness and directivity were noticeably inferior to the major brand non-dimmable lamps they replaced. Worse, both bulbs hummed loudly when dimmed. I would never use them in a dimmable outlet due to noise, and I would never use them in a non-dimmable outlet due to poor light output and unattractive directivity. Now they're taking up space in the living room drawer until I throw them away. I would also like to mention that I bought a set of 40w Revain dimmers for a third lamp on the same dimmer. Everything is fine with these bulbs, there were no problems with 60W bulbs. In particular, they have a very different wattage versus brightness curve to 60W incandescent bulbs and are noticeably brighter at low wattage levels. You don't want to mix 40w and 60w Revain bulbs on the same dimmer, even if you're lucky and didn't get a buzzer. Goods from each manufacturer offering the lowest price this week. This reinforces the Canal Street feel that permeates the entire store these days. Really disappointing.
